I hate how money is always the biggest focus when it comes to people sharing their content creation services or products.
Yes it does give you a lot more freedom and flexibility in your life since money can be exchange for a lot of different types of freedom, but I think through the emphasis, [[Money has become a means of its own]]
Content creation is further being commodified to become a means of wealth and success rather than the intrinsic fulfillment and creative exploration of your curiosities.
So recently, I have been thinking about what a credible creator means and how I can strive to make sure i don't fall into the same trap. This includes:
- No fake guarantees or unrealistic scenarios
- No [[Pyramid schemes]]
- [[Building in public]] to be more authentic and gain trust
I feel like I definitely do have morals, but at the same time, I do notice my content and personal brand being stained from these influencers
I came across some notes to help me do so.
Recently I've done a revamp of my ultimate starter vault landing page do not have complete absolutes and mention the fact that it might not be compatible for everyone.
I don't want it to be a black box, I want people to know what they're purchasing when they're buying the product, not solely some vague dream.
Recently I've read [[My Inputs/My Books/The Pathless Path]] and found his economic philosophy to be much more lively with [[People pursuing the pathless path are non-transactional]]
it reminded me of [[Patreon]] and how despite $3 a month being less than a cup of coffee, the underlying support behind that pledge means so much more.
This is how content creation should be.
So to analyze my own personal brand, I've been looking at levels of authenticity and connection.
Dakota shares a 3-layer content framework for the type of content a creator can make using the [[GAP Content Framework]].
I feel like most of mine has been the top level (growth), but i want to start making time for the other layers as well, which i have been through my alignment philosophy videos. this led me to writing [[My story, why im grateful for all of you, and my plans for the future]]
