- Get 9 coins so you can coup whoever coups you
- Call out early ?
- Best case, you nail someone; worst case, you're no longer an early game target. And in every case, you put fear of making unqualified first turn calls.
- Keep calling ambassador to get contessa and to see cards
- Keep ambassador so you can stay flexible
- less likely to bluff since you just switched
- Captain so you can steal, force out ambassadors (less likely to call you out since unsafe), makes people less likely to steal from you
- If end game is Duke, can spam captain
## Bluffs
- Can pretend to have assassin, low chance people will call you on your bluff
- People are likely to not lie about contessa second
## End-game
- Captain is good end game since it counters all income methods
