For each item with a [[Form]], there is a throughline But if everything is connected to something greater like the [[Logos]], then how is that structurally sound? What are some major throughlines? This is what we figure out during [[Socratic dialogue]] — but not only do we find the throughline of the object we're exploring, we also try to find the throughlines of the other people we're with. This reminds me of the axises of dialectic , as discovering these aspects is our unique affordances that let us connect with it. This reminds me of how these different terms and ideas aren't exact replicas of each other, but have their own nuances (aspects) to create a throughline that reveals a unifying theme? It begins to take shape, rather than being something concrete. And ultimately, this brings us to the "Good", the throughlines of throughlines, the throughline between the three transcendentals: the true, good, and beautiful ([[Ontonormativity]]) ![[After Socrates Episode 6#^32w226]] By believing something like the logos connects us altogether, we can have hope that there's a throughline in everything - ![[After Socrates Episode 14 The Procession and the Return#^6mprhs]] - This is why you need [[Alignment]] because this is what gives your life meaning and connectedness, the wheel of life is a rough proxy as well - this is why you can't just plan top down or only plan bottom up (see [[Thinking Styles]], you need to have a mix that is closer aligned with reality through experimentation like [[Anagoge]], because the deepest ways at which we can participate in reality come from the mutual emergence of the one (us) and the many (world) - How can we get to this "one"? - ![[After Socrates Episode 14 The Procession and the Return#^8zo3xv]] - Once again, an example can be found in [[Alignment|Values-based productivity]]: - it reminds me a bit of value is driven productivity because if you can continue asking yourself why or the cause of the things you are doing, you will ultimately get to a point where you can no longer think of a cause where you can no longer explain such a concrete thing and I feel like that's because you have your values as the closest tangible things that deeply resonate with your oneness and self. so then part of self-actualization is having a good understanding on what these values are because they are the proxy on how you work on things and live in a way that is deeply meaningful ## Other examples - [[Philosophy]] is the throughline for all cognitive subjects? synoptic integration - makes me realize how it is important i continue to engage in philosophy alongside all my other interests. this is what provides connectedness between all the different parts and interests in my life: ai, psychology, philosophy, pkm, adhd
