But to overcome existential entrapment when we are not already intrinsically interested in something (see [[Paradox of self-improvement]], we need to adopt symbolic enactment by having a value of wanting to engage in music appreciation until we value it in its own way, through [[Aspiration]], wondering. A liberal education is useless for people who want to control and educate you, because it makes you a better self through [[Transframing]].
