- Twist
- Commit more than you think
- Like inline skating where you get momentum from the push off the ground parallel rather than against
- Keep feet close
- Knees bent
- Imagine a sine wave
- also add some push upward and downwards so you alternate your legs
- moving shoulders and body is helpful
- should closely follow feet
- with power pumping, you're anticipating

- FLSteamBushi [https://youtu.be/tvzT8PPAPuU](https://youtu.be/tvzT8PPAPuU) shows it the best but he talks about swinging your upper body. The real secret is you have to swing your hips really hard. After I figured that out pumping is no longer an issue for me. At first I was only able to pump if I already had a high speed (from a hill or fence) and I could even maintain it but if I lost too much speed i'd fall off or if my initial start was too slow i'd fall off. And then I'd wonder, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?! And then, it clicked. TWIST THE HIPS like a mother f**\***!
### Flow pump
- Just have a strong front
### Power pump
- Push off more to sides harder
- Should be vertically symmetrical
