Want to start documenting some of my workflows in case others might find it useful, so here it goes :)
So throughout November, I've been thinking about and have been inspired by a lot of different things:
- I've been less disciplined than I usually am, and want to get back to working on something beyond my own benefit and pleasures
- [[My Notes/The Deep Life Stack V2]] by Cal Newport has given a greater system to contain the productivity-related
- Been having lots of conversations with friends (thank you Olivia, Aidan, and Matthew) just brainstorming my potential channel and brand directions
- [[Yomaru]]'s transparency, I clicked on his YouTube video, thought he was cool and went to his digital garden, and from there I could quickly resonated with his values and learned more about him. And so, I decided to schedule a call with him.
- What if I could do the same but for my personal brand ?
- Productivity brands can feel shallow, especially if they're shortform
- Digital garden
- I made a new really close friend who is very passionate about creating
- My Obsidian content is useful for those who are deep into the productivity and PKM rabbit hole, but what if you're not?
And so, I fleshed this all out into different projects:
- [[Digital Garden Obsidian Publish Revamp]]
- [[Digital Self-Actualization Content System]]
- [[Deep Life Stack Elaboration]]
- [[GTD in Obsidian]]
- [[Digital Self-Actualization Branding Integration]]
After doing so, I was able to clarify the sequential order at which I needed to do them, as well as their priorities.
The content system and the Obisdian Publish revamp would be the core of it all, so that stays at the top.
Creating content from the Deep Life Stack elaboration would be best done with the content system in place so I put it after, and GTD is of lower priority since I already do have some task/project management setup.
And lastly, DSA branding can be done later as well.
So now that the projects are determined, I can just continue to clarify the steps required to achieve each project in a brain dump. For example, Obsidian publish revamp looked like:
- [ ] my resources
- will be used as my main knowledge areas
- [ ] think of main mocs i want to link to
- [ ] flesh out digital self-actualization
- include my personal story somewhere
- [ ] Brainstorm ideal layout, where to put shared content - related to [[Digital Self-Actualization Content System]]
- Twitter/YouTube community posts
- Small ideas
- Should be related to DSA
- Newsletter
- Keep it on convertkit since that's where subscribers are
- Newsletter
- Keep updates on Digital Self-Actualization progress
- Atomic ideas - blog posts
- Brand updates
- Can link to notes in my vault, and it will also be readable in the vault as well !
- To see the web version, click here
- YouTube
- more fleshed out ideas
- [ ] Patreon
- [ ] Share new updated vault
- I'm updating my personal brand mission - want to expand to more than just Obsidian, and synthesize my own meaningful understanding of productivity through a mix of interesting sources (see interesting people) + philosophy.
- And I'm going to try and do this inside Obsidian π€―
- What will this mean?
- Expect frequent YouTube community / Twitter posts about the ideas I come across
- Expect weekly updates to DSA in my newsletter
- Email courses
- New parts in my vault
- Expect videos related to implementing DSA principles into Obsidian
- YouTube/Twitter
- Newsletter ? Might be better to just work on something though
- What if I were to just keep on substack ?
I'll just do this for the ones due this upcoming week, and once I'm done I'll look at how I can turn these into actionable tasks that I can slowly work towards throughout the week (see [[Creating tasks for a week from projects]])
