I was always competitively playing games to min-max them:
- Richest person in a minecraft prison server
- Optimizing things in stardew valley, minecraft, terraria, etc by reading wikis and watching tutorials to min/max
- LEM in CSGO, diamond in R6 + competitive player, immortal in VALORANT
- My fair share of competitive teams throughout
I'm pretty sure this obsession during each game and associated phase is what helped me start self-improvement and productivity with a high rate of obsession and growth. I was already familiar with achieving goals and constant improvement through [[Purposeful practice]], but I just had to transfer it to a new medium with motivation as my biggest bottleneck.
