When we're indwelling something we're not aware of the thing itself ([[No-thingness]]), we are aware through it (a blind man and his cane, seeing through glasses, our body). Through something beyond ourself, we get to expand our knowledge and awareness as that thing we're indwelling continues to come into contact with reality. This heavily reminds me of [[Extended mind]]. In [[Socratic dialogue]], we have a chance to indwell through other people and their perspectives: - > you realize that other people are coming into you and becoming part of your metacognition but you're also looking through other people seeing right the world through them. So you're simultaneously how am I knowing and how am I being known in this Loop, and that is a kind of intimacy where you get intimations of yourself and intimations of reality This is part of the simultaneous process of [[Anagoge]]. The other part is to bring ourselves into reality through [[Internalization]], allowing for a reciprocal re-opening
