## Benefits
- Hotkeys
- Hotkeys to show different sets of calendars
- Useful for [[Time blocking]]
- I had three calendars:
- Non-movable events (ex. meetings)
- My planned time blocks for the day
- Ideal week with time-block frames
- Can manipulate timeblocks via groupings:
- Set 1 can be for non-movable events + today's timeblocks
- Set 2 is for planning my day in relation to my ideal week
- Set 3 is for modifying my ideal week
- Share availability
- Add todoist integration for now

### Natural language command bar
- Duration
- Type the duration `60 min`
- Time scheduling
- `5-6 pm`
- `{{VDATE:due date, YYYY-MM-DD}}`
### Task names
- With auto-scheduler, can add duration tag like `[30m]` or `[1.5h]` in title or notes, also applies for external tasks
If all your tasks are well-defined, then smart frames can help so much with balance and intention. Adopts same principles as [[The Ideal Week]], but with much more clarity as you know what you want to work on during that time.
### Tasks
- Recurrence patterns are created using LLMs? crazy
### AI
- Can be helpful for people who need external accountability
- AI planner is to easily take action on the planning and configuration you set out for yourself earlier
- At the end of the day before you classify tasks and update them, then tomorrow you just plan
- More flexible
## Nice to haves
- Can create recurring tasks during creation of something as well
- Can have folders or sections for the tasks we have
- Re-organize task list
- Natural language conversion when adding tasks on the sidebar
## Calendar
- ![[Morgen-20241120205741481.webp]]
- Isn't part of scheduling even though I triggered it from there
- Can there be defaults in settings you can configure for how many days ahead you want to plan? I end up readjusting every time to one day, and sometimes i would want even just the block, not the day
## Frames
### Types

## Usage
Frames
- I have goals across quarterly/monthly timeframes and projects across weekly timeframes, which I convert into frame filters.
- At the start of the week, I think about what I want to focus on (how many hours, in what order, etc.) and based on that I plan out my "ideal week" in Morgen.
AI Planner
- Usually just been running it either at the start of the day, but most of the time my schedule changes so I end up moving frames throughout the day and re-planning / moving the tasks manually to keep the order I want them in.
- With frames, I get to automatically query for my tasks to automatically plan them out for the day. Usually, I still have to change the schedule, but it's a good rough estimate. It's like coding where you give it your intentions (but in this case the prompts you give are frames), and then it gives you a rough draft to iterate and refine.
- Benefit of AI planner: flexibility in rescheduling tasks without pressure to complete immediately.
- Option to reschedule ASAP or during the next available time block.
- Respects other daily commitments.
- Current limitation: cannot move overdue tasks immediately; must reschedule to the next day.
- This is sensible as it avoids additional stress on the current day.
- Improvement suggestion: allow planning the next day's schedule the day before.
- To fully trust the AI planner, I need to schedule tasks daily and not archive them.
- Proper time estimates will automatically fill the daily schedule.
- Obsidian tasks integration: using due dates in titles for prioritization.
