## Notes - Introduction to [[Creators Codex]] structure - Initial declaration of [[My writing voice]] - The permissionless power of [[Freewriting]] - [[The power of how and what questions]] ## Highlights ### WIP - [[Atomic Essays]] - 1 idea - 300 words - Or - Small section of longer piece - 750 words - Share ### Freewriting I guess i'll start writing about my thoughts from the workshop so far, i could technically just voice this out since i feel the words i'm using would be accessible from either form of idea transmission but i'll stick with freewriting for now just so i get some typing in hehe is this what morning pages are like? literally no direction in your writing, just rambling and yapping until the timer hits a certain time. like what aidan said, is this the constraint that llows for unique work? anyways, i do kind of see some benefit in this exercise in the sense that when do you actually give yourself time to just wander like this. like yes you do wander when looking for things to learn, but when do you wander when creating outputs? i guess that's what my weekly newsletter is for, letting some of those cool ideas from the week be fleshed out with no direction? with that in mind, what dichotomy do i want to have when doing my writing? i wanted to go into this workshop working on my deep life stack writing, but maybe the truth is that i should just be a fully expressive creator and just write what comes to mind? i'm not sure hmm. i do feel more friction starting for the DLS writing just because i haven't had experience, and there is constraint with me wanting to do something that can be repurposed to a video editor. but i feel the video editor should have meaningful pieces, not just be pure wondering because that goes against the intent? so then maybe i can have an architect vs gardener dichotomy on my channel? hmm so then if you combine a vs g with explicit vs wandering, that could be pretty interesting. one is more low effort and wandering, while the other is intentionally more polished, and that is the dichotomy. this reminds me of when i used to write super long rambles and didn't have a care in the word for optimization. that twitter one was always so memorable and it's been a while since i did something similar that i can look back upon and appreciate. hmm. so now the question is how do i balance learning with this writing form? if writing is beyond just synthesizing what i learn Atomic ideas are from rambling, doesn't have to just be #### Wrote about - [[The value of my weekly wonderings]] - holy 28+ responses - collect to calm is to dump all the things you're thinking of about that idea #### Insights - insight transferring - look at what resonates in the insight, then dump the writings into a note where you can edit it - source note is in daily note, but then you have a draft that you can mold to your liking ### QnA - Who did you write to in the beginning - To himself, then share after - > The only thing to be sure of is that there is nothing to be sure of - Uncertainty is inevitable, no harm in sharing #### Sabine hot seat - Hot seat with Sabine - 1:52:00 - Everyone wants answers and solutions and how-to's - Why would someone listen if you don't follow those rules - What does the world need more of? - People need to share more - How do we foster curiosity for people to find insights they don't know they need? - What are the aha moments that you are glad you found? - What aha moments would people be grateful for if they weren't looking for it - How can people start with an assumption and show them a different perspective - What are blueprints useful for our unique situation without us tweaking? - Look at what people are already engaging with, **become a trojan horse** - This is the goal with my vtuber - In [[Academic writing]], Laila claims that focus is on accessibility rather than being dry now what??? - SEXY writing - Statement - Explain topic statement - eXamples - Your conclusion
