## Brainstorming
### Topic
%%What is the big idea you're thinking about? Why are you writing this? %%
- Jo Franco mentioned, and I realized it's very easy to do with digital notes
- The only question is, what model should you use? o1?
### References
%%Are there any existing notes, resources, or experiences that come to mind related to the topic? For each thing, why is it related and how can it be helpful? %%
### Brain Dump
%%
Write out any other thoughts that come to mind, then create a cognitive scaffolding that combines your references and brain dump.
Break it down into branches and sub-ideas for further elaboration %%
create mvp with dataviewjs queries for each log, then feed it into chatgpt. also have stuff for other. maybe use expander plugin?
first, journal plugin
- Benefits
- Summarization
- Identifying patterns
- Overcoming obstacles
- Using AI to analyze it, inspired by a workshop at BASB summit where Jo Franco shared how she gets AI to read her journals to
- Seems like it can help with [[Self-deception]]. Shouldn't replace your own browsing, but we all know AI is super good at pattern recognition and higher-order thinking over large datasets
- Probably going to create a video dedicated to this
- Right now I just put most of my journals in the [[Daily notes#Today]] header. I do have times where I create journal logs like [[My meditation journal]] where I keep my daily logs for that specific thing, but I always make sure to embed the inside.
- The goal would then be to find a way to extract the text from this header, as well as other frontmatter data like my `Summary` or `Story` of the day to feed into Claude Projects. From there I would have a journal system prompt to help act as a reflective guide that supports me in self-awareness and living in accordance with my values
- This is where the biggest problem lies - I am not sure on what the most effective way to do so is 🤔
- I could create some complex dataviewjs query that can combine all this data in an organized fashion, then exports the data into a note, table, or PDF. Now that I'm thinking about it, table seems like the most effective way - have each day as a row, and different fields you want to analyze as the columns.
- Thinking beyond journals, what if there was an AI system that could also help you understand patterns in your vault usage?
## Organized Ideas
%%
A place to start your rough (or maybe even final) draft.
What writing framework or checklist best works to guide you towards your ideal finished product?
%%
## Potential Outputs
%% What can I use these ideas for? Content, new notes, etc. %%
