Welcome to another edition of _Weekly Wondering_, a sacred time where I share the resonating links, reflections and learnings from my past week to influence your next one ;)
I came across a lot of cool content this week, so I decided to create new sections to display them in different ways. Let me know what you think!
### **β¨** In My Life
**Insight to my creative workflow**
I recently posted a video on how I brainstorm and write these newsletters in Obsidian, which you can see [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOixPl1hbYs&ab_channel=JohnMavrick). If you're from that video and decided to check out my newsletter, I hope you enjoy your stay :)
**Applying for YCombinator!?**
Original co-founder Matthew and I applied for startup incubator YCombinator's W2023 batch, which you can see the video to here.
We had originally uploaded a more scripted version prior, but his mom told him the video felt too forced and bad, so we decided to wing it without looking at the script for the second run.
After comparing the two, the improvement is as clear as day, and this lesson on authenticity will serve me for a while.

**The most densely packed information about someoneβ¦**
can be considered to be the [[MBTI]] personality types, outlined by this [video](https://youtu.be/wHTDAAZo63U).
From personal experience, I'd have to agree, a lot.
I've used it to get a glimpse of a person's character and to better understand them, whether it be when meeting new people or seeing how to cater to potential romantic interests ;)
For example, my type as an INFJ has a high compatibility with ENFPs, and just seeing the instantaneous connection and trust I have with meeting them despite my introverted self has been surreal :)
If you want to learn yours, I would recommend using the [16personalities test](https://www.16personalities.com/).
**A jack of all trades**
[[Polymath]]
Although I only read a one-page summary, I found actionable takeaways that I can start to apply, and if I really wanted to learn more about a chapter I can read the actual book.

**Writing at the speed of thought**
I've been out with cousins the whole day so I haven't had time to write this newsletter.
So on my 10 minute walk back home, I opened up [Fleeting Notes](https://fleetingnotes.app/) and started using my phone keyboard's voice to text to vomit out all that came to mind.
I also find this workflow super convenient while on the way to work as I listen to videos (refer to "Idea Vomits" for an example), and it's also helped a lot with [practicing spontaneous speech](https://twitter.com/johnmavrick_yt/status/1568860196679876609) since I more used to writing my thoughts and internal reflection.
To start your own, you can check out Google Doc's advanced [voice typing feature](https://youtu.be/Unwa4fYxwJo) that allows for a hybrid experience of typing and audio-based writing.
**Twitter tweet everyday**
I've always been a bit scared on what I post in fear of not catering to my follower's interests, but I realize how dumb that was.
This spontaneity and ability to continue overcoming my perfectionism has been quite helpful in letting me produce the content I want to and prepare for much bigger plans.
And so, [I started tweeting](https://twitter.com/johnmavrick_yt) whatever comes to mind at the end of each day alongside other people like [Jack](https://twitter.com/mielke_jack) and [Arjun](https://arjunkhemani.com/), people I've recently met online whose thinking I admire.
