If something else enters his mind, then he will dump it all in a note and go back to the one thing. It is only when he finds himself continually adding on to this one page of information, where he re-evaluates his priorities. **Remember the regrets of the aging** I believe tapping into the wisdom of elderly people's raw thoughts is invaluable for remembering fundamental life principles. I haven't got to reading the top 5 regrets of the dying because of claims regarding the author's self-absorption, but I am really fascinated by seeing what people value after decades of experiencing life. Nonetheless, the top 5 were: 1. I regret not having lived a life true to myself 2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard 3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings 4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends 5. I wish I had let myself be happier According to a video from Psych2Go, 9 common regrets were: 1. Caring too much what other people think [0:41](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=41s) 2. Not following their passion in life [1:10](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=70s) 3. Working too much [1:44](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=104s) 4. Not saying how they truly feel [2:08](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=128s) 5. Not standing up for themselves more [2:35](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=155s) 6. Not believing in themselves enough [2:57](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=177s) 7. Not taking better care of yourself [3:19](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=199s) 8. Not taking more risks [3:43](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=223s) 9. Not living in the moment more [4:05](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtuLigJIC_k&t=245s) I'll admit that it seems like a shallow Twitter thread and most of it is common sense, but how often do we actively follow it? I'm happy to say that I've been mindfully working on all of them, but 4 and 7 might have some ways to go πŸ˜… To remind myself, I keep it in a [[My Daily Reminders]] that I look at every morning to help me remember what's most important. ### 😀 My Ramblings
