## Logs
### 2024-09-29
- fleshed out the other days more, but still a lot more time to spend on the script and add more fun details to it
- Creating b-roll for the intermediate steps will be pain
- I enjoy the initial days and description so far though :o
- How do I want to add myself into here?
- genuine flow when fleshing this out
- feels like i'm censoring myself less since i can combine both my improvement mindset with my online mindset
### 2024-09-13
- 2.5 hours done on it, not bad!
- i really like this introspective approach
### 2024-09-11
- Not sure on what approach I want to take
- I can dive right into the environment
- Or I can dive into the overview
- i'm thinking overview to share the learning journey as well

- Just fun to tap back into my old roots!
**What is my audience and how can I cater towards them?**
-
**Personal/Channel Benefits:**
-
**Main ideas/messages:**

### How
**Extra preparation/research needed:**
- What is already working and how can I enhance it
- Can be what I outsource to editor?
**Presentation style:**
%% What kind of video will it be?%%
- Inspirations
- Another vtuber video showing how they learned it
- Just share journey

## Outline
### Intro
%%
- see me right now? i have a 3d model
- I'm supposed to be a cosmic explorer, but this looks nothing like it - Goal is to create a home for me by creating my own galaxy - stars - solar system - navigate around - First thing to do is to be in space - What does space look like? - In another app it looks like this - Stars, nebula - In one of my biggest inspirations it looks like this - Stars, Dominant milky way - start creating - stars - nebula - now we need to fill it, feels empty - Solar system - Sun - Followed this planet tutorial - Used moon texture from another anime one - Orbits - Planets - Rocky ones, just recolor moon texture - also wanted to make other planets like gassy ones - Straight lines - Cloudy - No clue what I'm looking for, I think I need lighting from the sun - point light - how do I travel from each place? - Sailboat! - Copy this one - Keep it basic for now
%%
**Hook**
- % i have no experience in creative arts. but
- what you're looking at is what i created in blender in 7 days
- now, how did i get here?
- you see, I've recently gained another dimension in my vtuber character model. but because of this, I also had to upgrade my old 2d background into a new 3d environment.
- so, I began research on how i could create one.
- this is what led me to blender - a free 3d software used for modelling and animation.
- after seeing the things other people made, I was mesmerized by the endless creative possibilities people have showcased on youtube
- i felt awe and wonder seeing the beauty of space in epic spaceman's videos
- i loved the look of anime-style animations studios like DilonGoo have made
- i wanted to blend these two components into my own style.
- but there's just one problem, I have no creative art experience. I'm just a computer science dropout.
- could i really break out of my logical brain roots to become more creative?
- could my programming skills actually be helpful in learning blender?
- to answer these questions, i set out on a challenge to complete three main objectives:
- 1. design and create my new environment
- 2. bring myself into the new environment
- 3. create an animation to showcase my progress and effort, which is what i hoped you saw at the start of the video
- i would have to learn a lot of new skills like modelling, shaders, lighting, animation, motion capture, all in blender. but if i could achieve it all, then i could confidently say yes.
**Brief outline of topics covered:**
