Similar to [[My goal setting workflow]], but this time you're turning the project into actionable tasks and will have weekly check-ups on your progress through weekly reflections.
This workflow is for actually creating a project. To see how I manage my projects on a weekly basis, you can check out [[My weekly project planning workflow]]
## Starting
- Create a new project note
- If you already have your [[Objective Key Results (OKR)]] filled out in the parent goal of the note, you can just keep objective and key results blank. If not, you can fill it out.
### Objective
- Fill out the following prompts based on [[Projects#Objective]]
### Key Results
- [[Set goals based on the desired process instead of outcome]]
- Are there any metrics you can use to measure your progress?
- Ideally, it would be input-based (hours spent) rather than of your control (views gained)
- Alternatively, you can also just think of the main steps that are required to achieve the objective
### Notes
- Are there any previous goals you can gain inspiration from?
- Look for related notes and ideas by following [[Retrieving information from your notes]]
- Make links to anything that is related and after/under the link highlight what is important from it
- Look for any relevant inputs or external links as well
### Weekly Progress
- Click on `Insert Project Weekly Progress Addon` button
- The week number you put into the input should be 2 digits like 04 or 35
- In plan, put your focus for the week
- If your [[#Key Results]] ended up being main steps, you can organize each step into a week and then choose the first one
### Tasks
- Plan out tasks to achieve [[#Key Results]], see [[Creating tasks for a week from projects]]
- If using [[Tasks Plugin]], be sure to schedule when you would like to do them
## During
- During [[Weekly Reviews]], go to the project note and visit the current week's `Reflection` header you made at the start of the week
- For inspiration, you can use [[Project Template#Reflection]] questions meant for the end of the project
## Completing
- Update the status of the project (complete, archived, etc)
- Fill out the [[Project Template#Reflection]] header
- Re-organize newly created notes based on [[Information actionability hierarchy]]
- Move the note to archives folder
