- People can see what real patterns feel like, in comparison to the partial patterns
- But just like how when we're blinded by light, we have to wait for eyes to adjust, we have to wait
- Take another step, have to stop from blindness, then adjust and can slowly progress
- This is [[Anagoge]].
- [[The Matrix]] is a modern interpretation of it
- Plato believes [[Wisdom]] is this anagogic progress
- To know something is to become one with it, implying [[Participatory knowing]]
