In terms of [[Dual processing theory]] - intuitive, association, fast, caring, usually in background - coping LOL
The observer - gives instructions to [[Self 2]] which then sometimes evaluates for correction. It wants to be responsible for improvement.
But [[Correction stunts performance]], we should see non-judgmentally and trust that [[Self 2]] can perform at it's best.
Self 1 is at it's peak when it is objectively focused on stimulus to properly feed to [[Self 2]]. We don't even think about the action as a whole, and it becomes [[Unconscious]]
It's like having good communications on what is happening on the map in a team-based game.
When we think too much and try too hard, we are unable to reach [[Relaxed concentration]], and [[Anxiety]] starts to narrow our capacity. This is self 1's doing since it created this reaction, but we attribute it to self 2 because it performed the action. In reality, there should be no judgement - [[Discipline of Perception]]
