> The 12 Week Year is not bolted on top of everything else you have to do. In order for it to work in the long term, it must become the system you use to get everything else done. It must become your execution system. ## Planning ### 1 - Adopt a [[Vision]] - Right now I do this through [[Yearly Review Template#Theme]] and [[12 ]] ### 2 - Choose a Goal - Start with your vision, then rate yourself in the seven areas of life balance from 1-10 - (i.e., spiritual, spouse/partner, family, community, physical, personal, and business) - [[Measuring Data]] - Coming up with [[Process Control]] ### 3 - Action Plan - Think of 1-2 keystone actions that will generate most of the results and prioritize them - Think in terms of 12 weeks - Can you break down the goal into 12 different parts you can work on per week? 6 different parts you can work on 2 weeks each? - Is there something required you need to do every week? - Requires you to have good time estimation via [[The Ideal Week]] - Think of other possible actions to work towards the goal - Acknowledge the [[Opportunity Cost]] of all of them, and only follow through with the ones you are fine with - Separate projects with errands - Use it to guide your day and implement it into your routine ## My Implementation - Mindset can be incorporated in [[My Alignment Philosophy]] ### Missing parts - [Inspired from this video](https://youtube.com/watch?v=2rLCRPQuYh0) weekly percentage completion, how would i measure though and know what was done on a weekly basis wtf??? take this weeks habit tasks, then next week habit tasks daily reflection you evaluate whether you did in weekly reflection you evaluate each check in in obsidian you can just have checkmarks per week? isolate based on tasks? hmm how does it combine with habits too? the reason why content is highly edited is because there is huge competition lololol
