Last year I watched [[Awakening from the meaning crisis]], a 50 episode lecture series on doing just that. One of the biggest takeaways I had was the four [[Types of Knowing]] deepened as you strayed away from pure information and focused more on application and action in the world. Meaning and wisdom comes from our interactions as an agent in the environment we are in. This resonated with me because it parallels the satisfaction I get from [[Note-making]] in Obsidian—instead of simply recording objective information, the linking nature of Obsidian gives us an environment where we can shape our own understandings by creating our own [[Concept models]] of the world. Well, somehow I managed to stumble upon fellow PKM creator [[Danny Hatcher]] and his second channel where he dives into [[Ecological Psychology]], which fundamentally challenges the basis of traditional psychology. As I continue to watch his 2-hour summary of an introductory textbook, my previous understandings only continue to grow into potential applications for how I clarify my own PKM workflows or improve my teaching skills.
