Everything else is our own choice. We run in circles trying to make sense of the world, but the truth is we cannot fully. Things are only complicated when you make them to be, hence why [[Ignorance is bliss]]. If we choose to live an intellectual life, then we are trying to transfer the sea of knowledge and understanding with a mere fork, Dapz style. If we dont appreciate the present then we will never live. If you are always on your phone during family events, already anticipating for the next one, when will you actually take the time to just enjoy what is? [[Journey before destination]] Sounds a lot like [[Optimistic Nihilism]]. In optimistic nihilism we are so insignificant what we do does not matter in the long-run, but in the "just be alive" mindset, nothing matters because it is all internally chosen.
