[[Carl Jung]] believes that all we ever have is a present and all we can ever control is by doing the next most important thing Our life can be seen as a repetitive set of "today"s. If you don't like how today went, then tomorrow comes and you don't like how it went… if this pattern keeps up you will end up not enjoying your life. This enforces that [[Journey before destination]]. Is it really worth 99 days of unhappiness to achieve one day (or even a few seconds) of bliss? The things in life that provide fulfillment are the things that gradually grow.
