As I think about [[My Video Editing Style]], I decided to just look at what videos I watch: ## Talking head [[Danny Hatcher]], simple talking head and demos, enjoy podcasts [[August Bradley]], nothing lol [[Dan Koe]], minimalist where focus is on ideas ## Slides [[No Boilerplate]], slides plugin Programmer videos where it's just a clip of a stream (primagen, fireship) ## Lectures [[HealthyGamerGG]], educational lectures based on this, there's no need to have insanely good edits. ## Characteristics - Stream of consciousness or script - Mostly talking head - The thing is though, they all have credibility beyond their video style which is why people are still willing to watch ### Obsession and frequent documentation - document your journey over a goal you are obsessed about - build a community that enjoys it too - [[1000 True Fans]] - how many people would notice if you stopped uploading? - monetizing trust over audience size ? - this requires you to overcome ego
