## Why
Systems for planning and working towards your objectives.
When used in combination with [[USV and Life Design]], the productivity systems in the vault help incorporate the humanistic work principles of [[My Resources/My MOCs/Slow Productivity|Slow Productivity]]. This helps ensure that:
- You can systematically work towards what is most important in your life
- You have better awareness of your workload, which can help prevent [[Burnout]] since it lets you [[Define your limits for accomplishments and expectations]]
- You can focus on **doing the work** since [[Systems provide external accountability]]
For a metaphorical understanding of how this fits in the bigger picture of our [[Digital Galaxy]], you can read about [[Digital life solar systems]].
By having dedicated notes for each objective in your life, you have a central hub for managing the related information. However, you still need to incorporate the workflows in [[USV and Personal Knowledge Management]] to efficiently manage incoming and existing information.
## What
### Higher-order
For the more long-term, more vague directions you want to work towards:
[[Goals]]
- Yearly, [[12-Month Celebration]]
- Quarterly, [[The 12 Week Year]]
- Monthly
### Actionable
During each weekly timeframe, we can develop actionable tasks.
This is where things are clarified enough actually to make progress on them.
[[Projects]], iterated upon a weekly basis based on [[Scrum]] principles
[[Tasks]], one-time actions part of a project
[[Habits]], repeated actions part of a project, goal, area, or value.
#### Not included
There is no good time management solution in my opinion, so I personally would recommend using [[Google Calendar]].
I instead use [[Akiflow]] for this + tasks!
## How
You can learn how to create, plan, and use the different notes at:
- [[Goals#How]]
- [[Projects#How]]
- [[Tasks#How]]
- [[Habits#How]]
However, you can turn to [[USV and Life Design]] to routinely adjust and maintain them frequently.
